Japanese Knotweed 101
On Tuesday, May 11th, The Pike County Conservation District and The Lackawaxen River Conservancy held a free webinar for the public. This instructional webinar educated homeowners, landowners, and all environmentalists, on how to rid property of the invasive species, Japanese Knotweed. Vincent Cotrone from Penn State Extension gave instruction, including manual removal and chemical control as well as a schedule for when to carry out this control on your property. All that registered for this event will also receive knotweed eradication schedule reminders and important updates on control.
