Peters Valley School of Craft is pleased to present a lecture by New Jersey artist, Ricky Boscarino. Ricky of Luna Parc is a multi media artist working in metal, wood, ceramic, glass and cement. Join us as he takes us on a visual journey of his life as a maker during this free lecture. Learn more about this creative genius and his fascinating Foundation, which is located in nearby Sussex County, NJ.
Born in Paterson NJ into an artistic family he continued the family tradition in the arts. He received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1982 and one year in the NYU Graduate Film School. In 1989 he purchased a house and property he calls Luna Parc which is a museum and sculpture park-now in its 28th year. In 2015 along with a board of directors, he founded the Luna Parc Atelier Foundation which will host interns and visiting artists at Luna Parc. His mission is to inspire young artists and facilitate creativity.
