Join Dr. Bryan Burnham, Trailhead Steward and Member of Catskills (NY) 3500 Club, to get answers to questions like: What is safe, ethical, and responsible hiking? What is safe, ethical, and responsible hiking? How to poop in the woods and other Leave No Trace principles. How can I volunteer in the mountains and on trails? What are the impacts of social media and increased trekking on local ecosystems? What is safe, ethical, and responsible hiking? How to poop in the woods and other Leave No Trace principles. How can I volunteer in the mountains and on trails? What are the impacts of social media and increased trekking on local ecosystems? What is safe, ethical, and responsible hiking? How to poop in the woods and other Leave No Trace principles. How can I volunteer in the mountains and on trails? What are the impacts of social media and increased trekking on local ecosystems? A free-to-attend discussion, no registration necessary. All are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the venue individually.Each month, the Pike/Wayne Conservation Partnership will host a speaker on a different science topic at a local brewery/restaurant for an informal public presentation and discussion.
